I guess you are probably interested to find out about my afterthoughts on the
mangrove cleanup, due to utmost concern for yours truly.
(If you are not you can stop reading right now!!)

To be fair, it wasn't all mud and dirt. In fact, I hardly went into the water. I only
got wet because I stupid squatted down when I was standing in the water, thus
getting a wet butt, which dried off pretty quickly anyway.

Ooh! I got to wear wellingtons for the first time in my life!! Hahaha, I felt like
both Phua Chu Kang and Paddington the bear at the same time. You know what I mean?
Just cross the cuteness with the Singaporean look, and you get Jia Yi in
wellingtons. :D

We did piling, which is really lucky of us, since most first-timers have to do the
litter picking part. But according to Grace, we look strong and sturdy, so she gave
us (or rather Yi Rui) the job of piling.

Piling = Poking wood into the mud to prevent soil erosion or something like that.

Thus, Yi Rui had to use this 6kg hammer thingay and pound down hard. As I said,
"free gym workout"! :D I had the easy way out, just passing them the wood and
occasionally holding it in place for them to pound it in. Yayyay to being a girl.

OK lah, that was the fun part. The unfun part was trying to fit it into our RM.
Any reminder of RM is not fun. Ah well, at least I get CIP hours? >_< AND I got to
wear wellingtons for the first time.

Right. Have to go get ready for school tomorrow now. :(( Boohoohoo. Bye bye late nights!
