Ugh, my muscles are aching away, so badly! But surprisingly, my bum doesn't hurt that much, even though I fell on it 5 times. It's like, my arms that hurt the most, and I hardly used them. How queer. Oh, in case you don't know what I am talking about, I'm actually describing the after effects of ice-skating yesterday. It was an almost-class outing. I guess? With like, 10 people, rouding up sort of. I am quite proud of myself I guess, cos my sister kept saying it will be a wasted trip there since I won't know how to skate, but at least I managed to balance OK (-_-), although I kept fearing I would fall and waddled away like a duck. But, ANYWAY, I managed to do at least two rounds without any help. Although I must still thank Sarah and Marge (lots of love!) for letting me grab them, although I was probably near spraining their hands. LOL. And anyone else who I carelessly grabbed onto when I was falling, like that white-shirted stranger who helped Sarah and I up. Ow, that was most painful. And there was Le Qiao's "chio bu", the grey-haired man who was so pro at skating. And he was rather nice I guess, giving us tips and stuff. Le Qiao must have cried when he left the rink. Oh oh, and I finally remember who Lucy is, from Narnia. Rather slow, but I read the series so long ago I can't remember anything about it. I wonder where the figurine is now, with Daryl's brother, Wu Yue's bag or in the dustbin? Can't remember lah. I almost forgot, Shannon looked really amusing in his uniform. The hat reminded me of those ancient Chinese scholars used to wear. And like, his apron was checkered (was it??), so cute. Too bad we didn't get served by him, but anyway the foodcourt was so full and we didn't want to eat dessert anyway. Not to mention they spelt dessert wrongly. Or was it another shop? A bit messed up liao. Anyhow, my point here is that yesterday was rather amusing. I didn't talk as much as I usually do, because I was eavesdropping. And anyway I'm really starting to dread Mcdonald's fries, because they are so salty and dry and they taste horrible. God knows why I used to like them '~' (trying to do the wiggly mouth effect) Contrary to what other people are thinking, I feel that these holidays are going really, really slooooowly. Probably due to lack of commitments in the form of CCAs. But hey, I tried to join in the ANCO camp (although I did nothing more than chat with Yu Han about it), and I tried asking Cleaven to go with me. Although it didn't work out lah. But that's not my point. My point is, I tried. =D So besides homework, class outings, and shopping/movie trips, there has been nothing else to do. Even the courses I wanted to take went poof, gone. How disappointing. And speaking of class outings, seems like 2H is having one after all. I still dunno if I'm staying overnight though, because it's not at a chalet but at Lorna's house, and it will feel a bit intrusive for 20 people to wander around her house. And anyway, it's tomorrow which means the blogosphere will miss my presence again. Oh gosh, I almost forgot! It's Yen Yee's birthday today, which makes her 15, like me! I bet she's celebrating away with Junie. So Happy birthday fellow clique member! =D ++++++++++++++++++++ I'm suddenly a-feeling christmasy. Although I don't really like this carol, I think it has rather nice lyrics. Very holy indeed. The first day of Christmas my true love sent to me A parteridge in a pear tree. The second day of Christmas my true love sent to me Two turtle doves And a parteridge in a pear tree. The third day of Christmas my true love sent to me Three French Hens Two turtle doves And a parteridge in a pear tree. The fourth day of Christmas my true love sent to me Four Colly birds . . The fifth day of Christmas my true love sent to me Five gold rings . . The sixth day of Christmas my true love sent to me Six geese a-laying . . . The seventh day of Christmas my true love sent to me Seven swans a-swimming . . . The eighth day of Christmas my true love sent to me Eight maids a-milking . . . The twelfth day of Christmas my true love sent to me Twelve lords a-leaping, Eleven ladies dancing, Ten pipers piping, Nine drummers drumming, Eight maids a-milking, Seven swans a-swimming, Six geese a-laying, Five gold rings, Four Colly birds, Three French hens, Two turtle doves, And a parteridge in a pear tree Haha, so boh liao. Bleah, I can't even scratch my back in peace, because my muscles scream everytime I attempt to do so. HORRIBLE.
