Just a zip post since I won't have a chance to get online anytime soon. I have come out with this ultra supa-dupa workable plan for finishing my homework within a week. And squeeze in reading all the funny funny books for Language Arts too! I am so determined to not do my homework at the last minute! Yes, I have been enlightened by the God of Homework, very coincidentally named Janice Yap. And I regret to say I won't be able to go see Sarah cosplaying at Expo this saturday because I'm going a-shopping with Ada Lye, but it will be nice if other people went and took sneak photos of her for me. And at the same time try to see if Zheng Chen is snooping around behind a mask or something. What fun! It's funny how Shannon thinks of fear as "life's only true opponent", to quote his words, since I have the exact opposite feelings. In fact, I embrace fear and find it one of my true motivators! I think if there wasn't fear in my life, my life would be void of love, kinship and friendship. For if fear did not exist, I would not have the motivation to do anything at all. It is because of the fear of losing someone that I have learnt to cherish and love a friend. The fear of dying the next day that I try my best to stay optimistic everyday. The fear of losing what I have that I try my best to fulfil what I really want. But you can say that I am deluding myself because I am so overwhelmed by fear that I try my best to "embrace it". However, I am really looking at it from another angle and fishing the best out of it. And truly, fear of failing exams is my best motivator for mugging. >_< If I were to name something as my sole opponent, I guess it would be hatred. Because hatred can annihilate a person's soul, and replaced by something you cannot recognise as yourself anymore. Hatred takes many different forms for me, in forms I don't even know at times. Which is why I like to smile. Because smiling somehow quenches my thirst for revenge, and at the same time, extinguishes hatred. To an extent, anyway. And yes, I am done with this post, and will go back to watching the remaining 3 episodes of the show starring S.H.E which I have forgotten its name in English. To be a spoiler to people who actually watch that show on Channel 8/U, two people have already died! *Gasp* Have fun guessing. "The only thing we have to fear is fear it'self - nameless, unreasoning, unjustified, terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat into advance." My sentiments exactly!
