Good-bye, year 2005! I will miss you dearly. *sob sob* (Shoos it away along with the bad luck it brought to me) And now, HELLO year 2006! I hope you will be nice to me and aid me in achieving my goal of self-actualization. Hear me meditate: ohm... ~~~~ Anyway, I shall not bore people with details of my New Year resolutions nicely packed up in my mind, but this year's resolutions are slightly different from previous years'. Firstly, they are more centred around personal developments, and secondly it's the first time I have an academic resolution!! School's getting into my mind... Sad to say, this year has not brought much surprises to me or made a huge impact in my life, because the things that happened are mostly similar to those that happen every year. Like, making new friends, gaining new knowledge, discovering pieces of myself, etc etc. I think the year which will have a huge impact on me will be the year I get married. Because from then on I will have to stick with the same person for the rest of my life. Terrible!! =p ~~~ So yesterday was the squad outing at Marina Bay. We went to the exact same place as we did last year, where we had the joke about beanie babies and played truth or dare. I faintly remember doing the banana dance. *Shudders* Only 19 people went, which was a rather sad figure, but nevertheless it was fun. I feel almost family everytime I'm with the squad. I guess it's because we've seen everyone's ugly sides before, and we are just really comfortable around one another. But it was disappointing how Chew Guan has changed. Like, from nice cute boy boy to vulgar act seh dude. Oh well. At least he's still quite cute lah. But Jian nan totally has not changed. Which is good. I was so totally shocked by Ping Yen, however. I was like, OMG! So scary! I shall not divulge what I mean by that, because that is for me to know and for you to find out. LOL. ~~~ Before I end of, I shall wish everyone a Happy New Year ahead! And I shall quote this Bill vaughan guy: "An optimist stays up until midnight to see the new year in. A pessimist stays up to make sure the old year leaves." LOL. Sometimes I think I am more of a pessimist in that sense. Ah, well.
