Tomorrow's the Symposium. Back-to-school day again. Hopefully it will be the last. No wait, there's still deSpace, considering if we are asked to go back at all. Will be walking around with Sarah tomorrow. Wuyue won't be there, because she is in hospital! *gasp* Something wrong with her appendix. Maybe she needs to get it out? Happened to my uncle before. Was some painful affair I reckon. I remember my one and only time in hospital was in erm, Primary 2? [obviously i know i was in hospital when I first arrived in this world, but that doesn't really count] I had some tumour thingie on my gum that turned black and painful and I had to take it out. Up till now I still don't really know why I had it there. I mean, I was only 8 years old. I still remember how I went back to school and told my teacher it was a magnet or something like that. So malu. >_< Anyway, my hamster was not named Hammie after all. Haha. It has a sophisticated name, JAVON. Kudos to the pet hamster names network. =D Isn't it amazing how hamsters can only see things in black and white? I think humans are really lucky to be able to see colours at all. I cannot imagine life without colours. But there are those unlucky few who can't see colours too. They can never drive, they can never shop without asking people what colour something is. Is being colour-blind considered a disease or a mutation or what? It's so interesting. No wonder i chose colour and transition metals. But actually I can't really remember why I chose that anymore. No specific reason I think. Just felt like choosing something different, I guess. I was reading up on the symbolism of flowers just now. I realised there are many many different flowers I have never seen before! But most of them are probably not found in Singapore anyway. The only one I can remember seeing in Singapore is the orchid anyway. Or maybe I just don't look at flowers most of the time. But my favourite flower is still the jasmine. It is so white and clean looking. And it has lots of uses. It smells nice too. Such a practical person. Here's a joke to hopefully spice up your day: A couple is doing yard work and the wife goes to take a shower. Her husband is looking for a rake and can''t find it. He yells up to his wife, but she motions to him from the window like she can''t hear. So he points to his eye, hits his knee, and then makes raking motions. ("I need the rake.") She replies by pointing to her eye , grabbing her left breast, slaps her ass, then rubs her crotch. The man is confused and runs upstairs. "What? What was that?" "Eye, left tit, behind, the bush." Haha, quite funny lah. But a little crude. Have a nice day anyway
