Today was a relatively weird day in many ways. There were a lot of weird thoughts going through my mind, but I put them away since we were supposed to be joyful and indulge in magic art while we celebrate Singapore's birthday. It was a disappointing celebration, however. First off, I did not wear my red shirt after all =P I am so patriotic, not. In the end, only Leanne wore an ethnic costume, while others wore red shirts. Significantly, v11 is not a patriotic class at all. The speeches were boring of course. They won't be called speeches if they were interesting. If they were interesting, they would have been called a television programme. The Taiwanese people had a short performance too. Mostly some song singing and playing stuff, not much of a significance to me. I expected a dance routine or something. Even poem reciting would have been fun! We only sang four songs some more. Haha, I can't even remember properly. There was the "Stand up for Singapore", the song I dislike the most, "When we get there" (is it?) the one with the fun dance lah, the new National Day song, and "Home" I think. Hardly anyone sang, so sad. I remember last year me and Soke may were singing damn loudly while standing up, everyone who could hear us were staring at us. Arh, those were the blissful days... And of course there was mass dance, which people had hardly any mood for. Haiya, expected lah, in aircon no one feel like moving already (sudden change of tone). There was a lot of chaotic moments I reckon as people were like rushing here and there, I was a little confused, dunno whether we should stay and stuff like that. And I feel evil, always laughing at people dancing when I ain't a good dancer myself >.< Shoot myself lah. Basically what is disappointing is that I didn't get to indulge in magic art after all! The celebration didn't arouse us to have patriotic feelings and emotions at all! So saddening. Might as well have watched some movie and indulged in amusement art instead. I envy those who went to China/Malaysia during these 5 days. At least we get to go to Miss Tey's house on Wednesday. Wonders what we will do there. We went to Parkway after a period of slacking and all in class. Arh, at least I did 70% (an estimation, of course) of my Chemistry Assignment Section B. We ate Mos, my teriyaki chicken burger again, and then we just randomly walked around. Bought two new pens and THE PRESENT for wuyue. I wonder what I want. Sarah and Ruiqi still wants to buy for me. Hmm, and I owe several people still. >.< Presents, presents to be bought. I feel mean at saying something to someone today. This is one of the few reasons why acting bimbotic is good. Because when you act dumb, you pretend you know nothing at all, and you can bluff your way through. No one will blame you, they will just call you a bimbo, at least it feels good, because bimbos are only for goodlooking people. Arh, of course, if they only say you are so blur, it means you aren't good looking. Learn to take the hints, people =D And I remembered the joke I wanted to share yesterday. At White Sands with Jan and Hao Tang, I saw this card. On it, a neanderthal woman was asking: "Why is this part of my body between my breasts and hips called a 'waist'?" The perverse guy next to her then replied: "Because there is enough space for another pair of boobs!" Do you get it? Waist, waste? If you still don't get it, smack yourself HARD in the waist. And now I feel sad thinking about how Mr Koh has a 23-inch waist and xtine a 24-inch waist. LOLness. Oh, and I faintly remember missing 3 buses while trying to decide where to go when we were at Tampines Interchange. Those wishy-washy dudes, guys are more indecisive than girls lah. And Nick kept playing Truth or Dare. And I always get the same question. They are just trying to get me to say that I like Yee Jek/Aaron/Wilbur. Like, whatever -___- Nick will get his time soon enough. Hahahaha 8)
