Wouldn't it be nice if the world was cadbury? The advertisement is playing again! I totally love it. Makes me laugh no matter how many times I see it. I think advertisements are great forms of propaganda. Especially jingles. They STICK like glue to your minds and you can't stop singing along to them. haha. Like the courts one. "If you want it, come and get it!" And many others too, which I can't recall now. I truly admire advert designers. Of course there are many other people I admire, like I admire those people who have such great confidence in themselves. You can just see from their faces they are so full of themselves in the positive way, and the way they walk, their posture, everything just says it off. My dunman high report book says that I "carry myself well", but well to what extent? I think I am not very confident. I think those people who are very confident of themselves have the "x factor" which is why most of them end up as actors and stuff like that. But of course, there are people who try to appear confident but it's quite obvious they are acting. Oh yes. They were asking what happened at the Esplanade today. I shall give a full description of what happened: So ya, we caught a cab to the Esplanade, me, Mark and Mr chua in one, and nicole, leslie and daniel in the other. I think I was pretty quiet today, but I couldn't be bothered to talk. Must be some mood swing or something. ya, but anyway, we went there, and there was basically no one else. So after another Nicole from Singtel briefly briefed (haha) us, Mr Chua brought us to Marina at the Killeney's cafe there for breakfast. Then we went back and the thing started. We had speeches by four people, two from singtel, one from the parliament or something, and another from MOE. So the press conference started, and they basically asked questions about the whole blogging competition thing. There were only two schools there, Vj and Bowen sec. So ya pretty quiet. We wore the blazer which was obviously a little too big. But oh well..and ya, after the press conference, the reporters started coming to all the students. I think nicole and daniel got one from some newspaper and they took lots of shots, and this Ian from newpaper interviewed me, mark and leslie. Then mark had a TV interview for CNA, and daniel got one for radio. They basically asked us questions about blogging, what fears and hopes we have for this competition, you get the idea. This whole thing is like so big. Wonder if we can win :p Then we took photos of course. I bet i looked terrible. LOL. I have no idea what we will be blogging about in those moblogs though. Sounds pretty restricted, much unlike what i usually blog. I have no self-censorship and I always offend people. Too bad. Bridge was interesting today! Daryl bidded 6 diamonds I think, and I was his partner. We got a total of ELEVEN piles! Dots, the last one, I put a J of clubs but MARIANNE had the queen. Utterly irritated. ): Haha, but it was some close call. And we totally screamed, which made Mr Ixer (issit?) pretty angry. But philo was OK today, about morals and stuff. I am shocked at how diverse people's morals are. Like, I feel that we shouldn't be too honest about how people look because it might hurt their feelings and that sort of thing, but others disagree and think they should be honest because it will help them. But the helping hurts and I don't like to be the devil's advocate. I rather let others do the job. =P Enough blogging for the day. Need to think about some things. Bye.
