Well if the person whose blog was previously mentioned is reading this, kindly inform me if you want the post to be taken down. It wasn't meant to be directed at you or something, just a bit of an issue to spark the topic off.
OK, anyway, today was the 5 items. I am so sad. I missed gold by 0.3 seconds for my shuttle run. Never mind, I shall redo it. For those who dunno, I have never ever gotten gold before in my entire school life. Horrible ya? Wu Yue has become so fit after all the running and training. I aim to be like her.
Tomorrow is Wing's birthday. I shall blog now because tomorrow I will be rushing biology assignment :p Ya. So happy birthday to her!! So sorry haven't gotten your present, time constraint :(
Ny sister buys Reader Digest on a monthly basis now, which means I have some reading material. Which is good, considering I don't visit the library anymore. I hope to catch up on some reading during the hols, if not I will really lose touch with the language. Well, but the books I read are not the deep, philosophical type like the Da Vinci Code.
Which reminds me: There's this show every thursday on Arts Central where they attempt to crack the da vinci code or something like that. I didn't watch it, just saw it in the advertisment. So cool. It's at 10pm anyway.
So anyway back to Reader's Digest. I think it is quite nice to read. Especially the laughter is the best medicine part. Let me give an example (edited by me)
Two men were walking home and they had to cross a graveyard.
So obviously they were very afraid while walking.
They got a shock when they saw a figure moving in the distance, but when they moved nearer, they saw it was just an old man. He was carving out a name on the tombstone.
One man said, "Why are you working so late in the night?"
The old man replied, "Those fools, they spelt my name wrongly!"
Quite funny har? Kindly laugh. If you didn't, you have no sense of humour.
Too bad.
Of course, there are the tears-worthy pages to read, like those about personal experiences with 911 and the tsunami etc.
Do I make a good advertiser?
Get to skip lessons on Friday. Dunno if it's good or bad. But oh well. Going with erm Mark, whom I'm not exactly like on good talking terms with? Never mind, should be quite fun, but have to wear tie and blazer )=
Bored to death. Not Thinned to death (aka biology assignment)
