Yesterday was a fun day! As you can see in my tag, Diane enjoyed herself too (:
So like I said yesterday, I ponned guitar camp again (thank goodness, Yan Le told me it was the most boring thing ever - ok i exaggerated this a little). So I went off late in the afternoon to the com lab to find Janice and Nick to do our music video.
One thing I must say - PA crew is horrendous, frivolous and scandalous! They won't even let Wing Yan off for half an hour to do our project. She was given a measly 7 minutes. SEVEN MINUTES. Like, what a lot! Hey thanks for being so kind hearted and all, but 7 minutes is not really enough for us to discuss and film our music video, thank you very much.
So in the end, we decided that I would be in charge of the music video! *gasp* I am going to need lots of help. I wish Janice would stop trying to finish everything by this week. I am getting really exhausted and sick of this project. Perhaps we should rest for a while and start work again when school reopens?
So anyway, Nick and I went off to meet the rest at TM. Horrors and terrors, Wu Yue thought it was at BUGIS. This was due to a miscommunication error, thanks to nick lah. But in the end we still reached safely and after some dispute, agreed on watching Howl's Moving Castle.
So what is the story about? i will describe it very briefly, in case you haven't watched it yet. It's about this really pretty girl called Sophie (she has a real low self esteem) and one day she came under this spell when she became really old. Well, she had to escape from her house for fear that her family will laugh at her so she got into Howl's Moving Castle (aka the movie title). There she fell in love with Howl, who is extremely cute but gay. For goodness sake, he wears GREEN, DANGLY earrings on BOTH SIDES! And his hair is like shoulder length? And he CRIES when his hair is dyed the wrong colour. How gayish. Brrr....
So after a series of really complicated events, both of them got together, although the mystery remains as to whether she regained her beauty. =(
This is the second of the movies I have watched which is about true love and stuff like that. I find movies of this sort rather fake, because no guy will ever sacrifice so much for a girl that he loves. I mean, be realistic. At least it would never happen in Singapore! The guy would care more for his lottery ticket than his girlfriend. Haha.
In my opinion, there are basically two types of guys you should never like.
First, the type who plays their computer whole day long. I am not saying names or anything, but it's really irritating when you try to talk to them and they say
"Hoi, I'm playing game now, cannot talk"
Excuse the bad grammar, but you still feel irritated because they don't seem to have any time for you but they have all the time in the world for their dear computer (=
Second, the type who never offers you a seat in the bus. When there is an empty seat they just go plop into the seat instead of offering it to their girlfriends first. Definite no-no. While going home yesterday night, I saw this guy who offered a seat to his girlfriend, but she refused, so in the end none of them sat. How sweet yea?
Third, the one who SMOKES. Enough said about that. Nothing is good about this type of person.
I especially can’t stand it when girls smoke. I mean they are such a disgrace to our species! Especially if they sit with their legs on the chair in public, puffing away at this stupid coil of toxics as though they look cool. Far from that even.
Fourth, the type who is completely gay. I don’t mean just guys with long hair, those can be pretty good, but those whose ACTIONS are completely so. Butterfly fingers etc. You get what I mean? I can’t stand those guys!
Last but not least, the guy who exudes too much manliness for his own good. And in this case I mean body odour. OMG I am so evil. Someone by the name of Z__ H__. LOL! At least he’s a nice guy lah.
OMG why did I talk about all these all of a sudden? I digressed terribly so!
I just realised there are lots of things I haven’t done since the year ended last year.
Yesterday, I watched my first movie in the year 2005 as in, IN the cinema.
I haven’t done a single facemask yet.
I haven’t finished reading a single book yet.
I haven’t gone swimming yet.
And the list goes on. I can’t believe it! I must start soon. I am getting overstressed. Too stressed for my own good.
At least I started on some things I have never done before.
I have started learning how to play a guitar.
I have started NOT procrastinating when it comes to work
I have started work on my first ever blog template design.
And the list goes on.
I have digressed again. LOL!
So anyway, yesterday night, going home wasn’t so bad, on my bus there was a really cute guy around my age. =P
Anyway, it isn’t that scary. After a few times of going home late myself, I have sort of grown immune to it.
I remember the first time was after the band concert (gosh I dunno what came into me to wear such funny clothes to the concert) and we were taking MRT. We as in June, KQ, Ada and me. Well so we were all so afraid, yet we kept saying stories to scare each other!
In the end, I got home safe enough but a little traumatized. It was around 11+++
But now, it’s getting much better, like yesterday, at 9++ I didn’t feel scared at all.
Yes, Jia Yi is a brave girl!
I realised I like to type anyway in my posts. Must stop lah, sounds so unprofessional.
Anyway (LOL no pun intended) I am starting to drop hair so often =( By the time I am 30, I will be bald.
This post is getting long! I have decided I will try to post 1000 words everyday, and I have reached my target already. So see ya around!
