Wow, this is my third post of the day. Just has too much to blog about.
I just realised something after I had my bath. I was combing my hair when I realised how different my hair is after a wash and when it is dry in the morning when I just woke up.
For example, after my hair is washed, it is surprisingly straight and appears longer than usual (I still regret cutting my hair [sniffs]) and it just looks so neat and proper..
And in the morning, when I just wake up and have just 5 minutes to tie my disgusting hair up, it must always fail on me. It will be all curly wurly (the after effects of layering and cutting my hair shorter) and also appears shorter. Weird huh.
I was reading Hejin's blog than I saw the portion about Grace's blog, so I went in for a read and saw...gasp* she cut her hair!! OMG. I never expected her to cut her hair. Short. Below her ears (slightly longer but still.) too. But she looked great in it.
I am so envious. Remember earlier on I wanted to just chop my hair off to save myself from the hassle of tying my stupid hair up? And she doesn't even have to worry that her hair is too thick, she has natural curls blah blah blah. Totally unfair. Why was I born with thick, curly, unmanageable hair? *grumbles*

OK. I shall not digress further. Actually I came to blog here because I just found out a subtle similarity among the few magazines I read, namely Seventeen, Teenage (getting more and more boring), Teens, and Cleo. OK that's about it. So I spend like $13.20 on magazines every month. Ooh, I'm digressing.
So anyway, its all about VALENTINE'S DAY. What a bore (notice the word rhymes with whore). Of course this day doesn't mean much to us singles over here, but still, when you see red all around, and couples going all mushy over each other, you tend to get a little green in the face yea? Especially Claire I know :p who wants a boyfriend. Or does she still?
But anyway, its so unfair there isn't a day to commemorate the girls who uphold their modesty and do not go into a relationship rather than girls who throw themselves onto boys and start saying things which come out of a romance novel. Eeck. OK, I'm discriminating. But like, who cares? We are supposed to blog about controversial stuff..

Anyway, its so embarrassing when I was online earlier in the morning, when Wu Yue and Daryl came to read my blog. Its like, I usually blog about such stupid and nonsensical stuff and I was like wondering what the hell they must have been thinking when they read my silly posts. Hmm...seems like they are nice and have not made any bad comments yet..but I'm still waiting :p
Honestly I get embarrassed pretty easily. Like on Friday when i was on the train with Claire towards City Hall Interchange, I saw Wenshu on the train and instead of the usual 'hi' i would say when I meet my friends somewhere, I turned my back to him and was hoping that he won't see me. LOL. But I doubt he saw me, so whew.

Since I was talking about magazines earlier on, I decided to do a magazine review here! Just ask me, i know magazines like the back of my hand...heh heh..(boys I think you should skip this part)
Teenage: A magazine which constantly does not fail to bore me. Honestly, its getting terrible. The posters are still a pretty good source of entertainment for it, and the horoscope section too, but other articles are getting boring, ESPECIALLY the column by a certain Aunt K*lly. LOL. Remember earlier on I had a post dedicated to her or something. *rolls eyes*
Rating: 2.5/5
Teens: Not too bad lah. Slightly better than Teenage, because its content tends to be more general, and the aunt agony typical columns are not so unrealistic. They tend to be shorter and more general, unlike maids writing in to share their woes of their boyfriends and the like. Although the material of the magazine is to be 'tsked' at. Can be better.
Rating: 3.5/5
Lime: I read this occasionally, and honestly, its not too bad at all! I think the problem with it is that it's pretty thin and not too much content, which is the main reason why i don't buy it on a monthly basis. But the content tends to surprise me at times, which is likable, especially if you buy it during the Singapore idol era, totally hot gossips in it!
Rating: 3.5/5
8days: One of the best magazines around! AND, it comes out on a weekly basis. That's a plus point. Every single page of the magazine is worth reading and hanging on to, especially this particular section you find on the last page of the magazine with all these funny quotes and such. And its highly addictive and effective in ridding your boredom. A good one-hour read.
Rating: 4/5
Seventeen: Although I like this magazine a lot, I don't buy it regularly. Its because of the flimsy cover and also the minus point that the covers are always unattractive looking and WHITE. That's quite boring. But the contents are good, with things like DIY projects and loads of stuff which appeal to the Teenage audience.
Rating: 4.5/5!!!
OK the last one is the one which, for now, I only know that Hejin and I read it.
Cleo: Honestly, this is the best magazine. Although it costs $4.20 and occassionally (ok frequently) has explicit and sexual content in it, just ignore those parts and you find yourself enjoying the magazine a lot. The editor takes a lot of effort in making the magazine a success, and it really works. I suggest you start reading it rather than FEMALE, which is really quite rubbishy. Oh, and ELLE too, although it gave out a free tote a few issues back.

And with that I'm done. Actually I didn't have a purpose blogging here today, but I think I have blogged pretty much. If I'm not wrong, my longest post was something like 2000+? Or was it 4000+? Can't really remember, because that was the post period of seperation, and lots of emotions to share with everyone lah.
Maybe it will happen again 2 years later? Or are we supposed to stick those 28 people for the rest of the two years? Not that they are bad or what lah, but some I can't stand..
OK, I just received this message from Wu Yue reading this:
Today is Internationally Handicapped Day. Please send an encouraging sms to a friend who is mentionally disabled, like what I have done. (: Thank you!
-_-|||
No meaning in it. At least there's still a weak pun in it lah.
Tomorrow is my grandmother's birthday dinner. So I think I will not blog too much tomorrow, have to rush out this last minute birthday present, and perhaps a visit to the library. I have not been reading for quite some time, apart from Death Note, which does not really count!
OK, I am getting a little sick of blogging for now. See you guys some other day.
Countdown: 2 days before official lessons start. Boo.
