Happy New Year to everyone!!! (: I beg to differ though. I think the word Happy is not exactly appropriate. I know most people think its good to throw away the old times and celebrate for a brand new year. Obviously, like others, I want the year ahead to be a wonderful one where I can fulfil my dreams and everything, but usually I feel more sad then happy. I mean, at least the future will be there for you to spend, but you cannot travel back to the past can you? So we should really cry for the last few minutes instead of celebrating over the loss of it -_-||| However, this is highly my own opinion. Whatever it is, New Year's Day means something for everyone our age. SCHOOL. The dreaded day when the school gates open to invite you in is finally here. Not like we were waiting for it or whatever. But usually New Year's Day is not a happy one, as most people are rushing those last minute work and preparing their new bags and shoes for the BIG DAY. What a drat. At least I am luckier than others not to have homework to kowtow to. And also I have the pleasure of spending my first week leisurely, or so to say, as it is orientation week. But according to Rachel, we will be divided into groups and further into flicks, so I wonder how much fun I will have. Still hopeful that I will get into Orian and Ohana like her... And might I mention that Ziye enjoyed her orientation? Hopefully mine will be enjoyable too...so wish me luck everyone...also, I am currently searching for a skin, so that I can have a like, brand new look for the year ahead, although I know for sure I will be changing skins pretty soon again. I just can't stick to one. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In memory of those who died due to the tsunami, I'm offering my deepest condolences to their friends and family and also that the tsunami will not take any more lives. Its such a tragedy to mark the end of the year like this, and everyone just cannot bring themselves to celebrate in times of such trouble. Before I think too much and start sniffling to myself about it (no joke about this), hopefully everyone who sees someone asking for a donation to the tsunami sufferers will be able to do a part and donate some money. It really makes a difference. Thinking through these, it makes people wonder if the end of the world is coming. First all the terrorist attacks and stuff, then SARS, bird flu, and now this. Its so tragic. I won't bat an eyelid if the scientists declare that the end of the world is coming. Anyway, we will be able to have an excuse from school ya? Well, that was pretty lame. Anyway, here's wishing everyone a good year ahead and also that they keep to their resolutions if any. Did I mention one of mine is to TRY to be vegetarian as much as possible? LOL. I managed to keep to it today~ AND HAPPY NEW YEAR ONCE AGAIN! signing off``
