I just finished another bulletin on Friendster, but I think its one of the last I will do. I am beginning to think that bulletins are rather nonsensical and useless. Crap really. I only really did them because I was very bored with no one to talk to. Seriously, if I was some intellectual who knew all the languages in the world without needing to learn them, I would very much appreciate the Japanese songs blaring from the speakers. Yes, the melodies are nice and everything, but it doesn't help that we don't understand them. However, you cannot ignore the fact that they do croon in a very emotional voice which actually allows you to roughly guess what they are actually singing about. Anyway, back to the main point. Today I have no real purpose for blogging. Let's see how long I can crap to entertain you. Maybe, I should set up this poll, and ask people for their opinions for my blog. Crap, boring, funny, or interesting and inspirational? Wonders how many people will actually choose the last...*rolls eyes* From now on I'm just gonna quote *rolls eyes* as *R*. Saves time, considering the amount of times I use it. Coming back to the main point, I have decided to talk about the commonwealth essay that Claire sent me yesterday. Ya, she wrote it herself. If I'm not wrong the title is something like, "Slow down, we are going too fast". Is it? Correct me if I'm wrong. Anyway, her story was based on an accident, which reminds me of the story Olivia sent to 17 earlier this year. Her, I mean Olivia, story was really good. Although there were some parts which did not make sense, like why Ren had headphones on when she was deaf. Nevertheless, good story. Going back to the Commonwealth Essay, I remember how mine was chosen this year by Miss Wee. Came as a bit of shock, when she told me to type it out for her. And it was like, a piece of work I did any-oh-how? But she claimed it was very personal...does being personal make a person a good writer? And anyway, Shiling mentioned that she wanted to joint the zaobao as a 'tong1 xun4 yuan2', I do too, but I have many minus-factors, like not having a good chinese foundation, and also that I am not very creative and able to phrase well in Chinese. I think I would do better in an English newspaper, but even then I won't do well. Besides, being a journalist is Claire's ambition. Or is it? Actually I wanted to blog about my New Year resolutions, but I decided that that is abit too personal for you to want to know, like duh, and also because it is all to unrealistic and one year later you will just see me blogging that New Year Resolutions are crap and do not need to stick to them etc. So I decided to do a blogs special. Like what blogs are good to read, etc. Actually, I do not really read ALL of them, but according to the rest, its nice. 1) XIAXUE's blog: This must be one of the best man...won the Asian Bloggers award or something like that. Might I mention I participated in the voting. LOL. Anyway, her blogs are witty, fun-ridden, and also very Singaporean. Not to forget, her photoshop skills are like, VERY EXTREMELY good. ((= 2) Sarong Party Girl's blog: Rather sexual one, if I'm not wrong its about her personal life written into a story like post. Quite cool, but if you are not into these kind of content, better not read it. 3) Lu Jing's blog: According to Shiling, she (or issit a he) is one of the few who blogs in Chinese and also the content is supposed to be mature, witty and entertaining. Oh well. 4) Claire's blog: Quite funny to read sometimes, although use of words can be shocking at times. A very self-opinionated blogger who prizes herself on her good vocab, or so I think. 5) Kang Qi's blog: A 9 chapter strong story about the life of monkeys. A primates lover (you can see this from her blog URL), she has a wild imagination and fuses the modern love stories (rather realistic too) into the life of MONKEYS. Can you believe that. And several fictious characters, bound to make you either roll with laughter or open your eyes in surprise. OK...none that I can remember now. I'm not a very wide reader, aside from my friends' blogs. But mostly people blog about their everyday life, and its a bit boring sometimes. Signing off now``
